Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Veda5 was a delightful exploration of culinary artistry and wellness surrounded by the serene embrace of nature. The dining experience truly stood out, with an extensive breakfast buffet that featured a harmonious blend of local Indian delicacies like idlis and poha, alongside the classic staples of cereal and fresh fruit. Each dish showcased vegetables sourced from their organic farm, prepared with light spices that allowed the natural flavors to shine through. One particularly memorable experience was participating in a cooking class with the chef. It offered an enticing opportunity to understand the ethos behind their innovative menu, emphasizing healthy ingredients that resonate with Ayurvedic principles. I appreciated the fresh produce, which not only contributed to the quality of the dishes but also aligned with my values as an archaeologist who respects the environment and cultural heritage of food. The tranquil ambiance of the restaurant, paired with live music by the pool in the evenings, created a perfect setting for unwinding. After a day filled with yoga sessions and tea tastings, I found the dining experience to be a rewarding conclusion to each day. Veda5 provides both a culinary and holistic journey that is worth exploring.
